What an AMAZING adventure we have enjoyed!! It all started about 2yrs ago when there were tentative talks about reprising the infamous Winton to Longreach Endurance Ride.
Growing up in Jericho I was fortunate to start my endurance career participating in rides around Longreach and so had grown up hearing stories about the Winton to Longreach Ride that had run its last race in 1988, the year before I was born. Hearing these stories, reading the articles I vowed that if ever the ride was to take place again I was going come hell or high water!!

Well, Moyston CFA Endurance has been ridden and completed. Lots of happy campers, some tired horses, riders, strappers, officials and volunteers.
We ran 4 rides across the weekend. 20km & 40km Saturday. 60km elevated and 100km elevated Sunday. There was a total of 80 riders in all with very few non-completions but numerous riders on the Sunday who chose to DNE (did not elevate).

The Eldorado Riding Committee would like to advise that they have set up their nominations in the AERA Online Nomination System (www.aeraonline.com.au). Nominations will open on 20 July at 1 am and will close on 27th July at 11 pm. To enter the ride online you need to set up an account on the AERA Online website. On the website click on 'Login' at the top of the screen and follow the prompts.
Please note: You need to use the email address with which you are registered with VERA. Create your account and enter that email address, choose a password and the system will pick up all of your membership information.
You will receive an email with a link to click to confirm your registration. Once your registration is confirmed, you are able to log in and enter the event.
Click on the Coming Soon button on the Eldorado Endurance ride event tile to view the information. Once nominations are open you will be able to select the ride you wish to enter, add the rider and horse details and then pay by credit card.
